This week I’m bringing you five home décor items that I’ve found for under £30. I love buying nice bits for my home and over the past few years have discovered some great interior homeware providers, so if you’re interested here’s five items that I think are super stylish and would look great in a home or as a gift. If this is a useful share then let me know and I can share further ‘five under £30’, I’m by no means an interior designer but just a Mum who had enjoyed planning for and furnishing her home over the past 18 months.
Nickel Trays
Hudson Home are selling these trays in three sizes, I think I’d probably use them on my bedroom dressing table but they’d equally work well on a coffee table or if you have a small bar area in your kitchen. Trays are also a great centrepiece on a dining table, underneath other items such as jugs or vases. The small tray starts at £11 and the large is £28.
Greige Blanket
I don’t have an H & M home store with me and rarely remember to look at their homewares on line but when I do I discover gorgeous bits like this greige (such a great word!) blanket. Personally I love to have a blankie on the sofa for cooler nights. This jacquard weave blanket has cute fringing and is a great price too at only £17.99.
Soft Velvet Cushion Covers
Available in six colours, my favourites being the platinum or dusty blush, these plush velvet cushions are from West Elm. They are currently reduced in price to £20.30 to £23.80 depending upon the shape you like.
Gold Striped Beetle
This gold toned beetle from Trouva can be wall mounted or displayed separately. Something a little different, ideally I’d like one in thats nickel in colour but if gold is your jam then this fella is for you.
This handmade oak coat rack is one I’d like for my utility, we seem to have more coats than hot dinners, so I don’t think coat hooks are never a bad idea. It’s available in four sizes, the smallest is £29. I do love to support independent businesses where I can and I found this seller via NOTHS.
So that’s my very quick five, was there anything there you liked? I’ve got to be honest though, even though this blog post is called ‘Five under £30‘ I’m being naughty and I’m actually sharing a few more goodies that I stumbled across, all in the name of research I should add ! 😉
Belly baskets from Bells of Suffolk, £18 – aren’t they nice? Talking of baskets, these three jute baskets from Garden Trading are lovely for displaying plants. When I eventually manage to sort out our utility room I’ll need some shelf ‘faffery’, pride of place for shelf display will be this ostrich feather duster from Lisa Valentine Home. The eventual new bathroom will also need some shelf goodies and I love the look of dark glass bottles like these Baileys Home Bath Soak beauties, a steal at £16.00. If you’ve been to Florence then this illustrated city print by Fox & Velvet (£19.95) is a beaut. You might remember two months back we knocked over a tin of paint which splattered all over one of my favourite doormats, so this 3 star doormat from Garden Trading Company is also something I’d love (£25). I picked up this last week (you might have seen my stories of the cat trying to eat it?), its a really realistic faux succulent from M & S home, a bargain £9.50. Finally, this Tierra metallic foiled plant pot is another statement for your home, £22.50 from one of my faves Oliver Bonas.
Hope some of these homewares might have ticked a little box for your home? If you found this helpful and would like another ‘Five under £30’ do tell, I’ll share more next month – let me know in the comments below.
