I find my husband so hard to buy Christmas gifts for! Do you? We’ve been together for 15 years and he is the type who never buys himself anything as ‘I don’t need anything!’.
I start asking him what he might like in early October usually, just after my birthday. He promises me he’ll share some ideas and I then keep asking him until December where I normally then go off and go with my gut and get him what I think he’d like as the list still doesn’t appear! But it’s hard as my usual go to easy fail safe gifts tend to be socks, a jumper, chocolate and a mug. But they aren’t the most imaginative really are they! So this year I’ve worked extra hard to look at really thoughtful giving, after all with the amount of work he has done on our house this year I think he deserves to be spoilt!
If you equally find Christmas shopping for a fella tricky hopefully this perfect Christmas present guide will help you.
Independent maker Sight Hound have really cool T-shirts , Christian loves his cycling and I think the bike wheel ‘Mandala’ T-shirt or the double espresso coffee T-shirt would both be a hit.
Griffin and Sinclair’s wooden phone stand is a great price and perfect for a stocking gift. Hord are a brilliant brand that have tons of products that your man will love; hip flasks, wallets, water bottles are all super stylish but my favourite has to be their amazing pennants.
If your chap loves camper vans, minis or any other vehicle then how about these retro prints from Wink Design. I love this split screen camper one in particular.
A really unique gift from one of my favourite makers, Vintage Candy is their personalised vintage coffee spoon.
Christian’s not a big drinker but if your husband loves wine then how about buying a single, two or three month wine subscription from £70. You get four wines plus weekly wine tasting videos, tasting sheets, food and wine pairing ideas and inspiration with Bottle Bazaar. For beer or cider drinkers, a personalised bottle opener is a cool idea. If your man likes his whiskey then these embossed gold tumblers from Dibor are a good price.
If you’ve taken some special photos during 2020 then display them with these bespoke acrylic photo blocks from Here’s To Us.
For interiors lovers then this first class waiting room sign from Rockett St George is pretty cool. Snoop Dogg’s From Crook to Cook recipe book looks brilliant and will liven up your evening meals as well as satisfy your need for some classics, i.e. Baked Mac & Cheese.
Christian’s a massive coffee lover, so Kiss the Hippo who were established in 2018 have coffee, machines and a huge range of coffee related accessories, as well as coffee brew bundles.
On the Where’s Wally theme and for a gift that’ll always remind you of the craziness of 2020 you can gift the hardback ‘Where’s Dom?
For a decent, can’t go wrong with a wool jumper present then Uniqlo have these beauties in a whole host of colours. A great price too at £24.90.
For car gifts, these seem to hit the mark and that is based on having a husband who shudders when I take my car to the local £5 hand car wash and feels the only acceptable car wash is one that he does that takes about three hours, so this must be good stuff for him to put it on his car.
Does that help? Hopefully they’ll be a few items above that will solve your Christmas dilemas – let me know ?
